London's pop up and weird restaurant scene gets more strange by the day. Would you go?

Why?? I don't get it. I can understand a restaurant like a school canteen serving school dinners, but I don't get the relevance of the tube train in this instance. Just weird.

Nothing new The Sidings just off the a19 outside York has been doing this for years just in a old train carriage rather than a tube, you can stay over too.

Yeah there is an Indian restaurant somewhere in the north East too that is an old train carriage. Thing is that carriage is an old first class dining car where as this is just an old tube yuk

It's near Jesmond in Newcastle been there too, while at uni but forgot about it like most things there, thanks for reminding us.

It's the Valley Junction at Scottish Life House, Jesmond. Very good food, and quirky too.

I'm sure it used to be called the Carriage but that was 10 years or so ago now used to be an ok pub around the corner called Mr Lynch full of tidy rara student girls. Good old days.

MC judges weren't very impressed, IIRC the summary was "likes to pretend but with very little actual skill". The grumpy one even called his restaurant a "supper club", I believe.
