Kitchen re-fit looming.

Quite fancy a range type cooker.

Budget about £2K with hood or less if possible.

Any users out there?

I had a dual fuel Rangemaster Excel 110 in my last home which was absolutely superb. 5 burners, griddle, 4 ovens inc slow cooker...it really was a brilliant piece of kit.

Eta, they come in at the top of your budget, but in my opinion, worth every penny.

Bit over budget but we went for an Aga Masterchef induction, which frankly is bloody brilliant. Just under £3k so not cheap, but kitchen re-fits aren't cheap anyway...

We had a Cannon dual fuel in our last place, it was only £1k but was brilliant. Now got a gas fired Aga and hate the bloody thing.

I really want one of these https://www.lacanchemoderne.co.uk but my kitchen is not big enough unfortunately and they are way over the £2k budget but you can pick up approved used ones from here http://www.lacanche.co.uk/products/bargains/

They also do a rotisserie as well which goes up on the wall that looks pretty neat.

Rangemaster 110 Pro+ here and stumped up extra for the induction hob. Came in at just under £2k.

+1, we've got the same, single door model.

Thats what I have - one gas and one electric oven with five burner gas hob. Its amazing. A chap from the company came out to tweak for me and the hob in particular is outstanding.

We've the 100 Pro+ Induction. Good unit and the induction is great,
I do find the grill is a bit lacking in available height and control, it's tricky to get a medium-high heat.

I wished we'd have been able to get the FX and got an oven with more functions too. But that didn't have the induction option (with dual ovens) at the time (don't know if it does now).

ETA: we got our from ao.com - they were a fair bit cheaper at the time.

We're getting a Rangemaster Elite for our new kitchen which is around £2k without hood but the dealer we went to a few weeks ago said there was an offer on Rangemaster hoods so you may be able to haggle and get them both for £2k or just over.

Trouble is, I want a remote motor extractor and Rangemaster don't do them.

Yep. Height control on the grill means flipping over the wire rack to the side with shorter 'legs' otherwise your sausages catch the element.

This Belling Countrychef came with the house, we love it, 8 rings and 2 ovens really does make Christmas dinner a doddle!

Yeah I am sure I read they go up to 300c which makes them good for soufflés etc. It's the chef style gas warming plate on the hob I like. So you can have stuff gently simmering on the outside and searing stuff in another pan in the middle.

When I finally move out of London I'll be investing in one and I need that rotisserie too.
