How often do you eat out/have a takeaway?
Discussion
Canteen at work 3 days a week for lunch, which is usually a healthy handmade soup.
Fast food (McDonalds/KFC/Burger King) for dinner or lunch twice a week.
Lunch at a restaurant or pub once a week.
Takeaway or an evening restaurant meal for dinner once every two weeks.
On average that is about 6.5 times per week out of a possible 14 meals (excluding breakfast as I don't have it), so 46%

At one point we were eating out once or twice a week and getting a LOT of takeaways.
Didnt question it - but I ballooned to over 15 stone and as it was to turn out, Mrs Paolow had been enjoying the comfortable credit facility her Lloyds credit card afforded her.
One very terse conversation later when the size of the hole she had dug became apparent took place and now we eat out rarely and get take aways equally rarely (every other month for each)
I like it this way though as I really genuinely enjoy cooking even if our respective spice/flavour tastes are somewhat at odds...
I am now hovering around 11 stone too which is a real plus. It was great food - don't get me wrong - but for a sedentary job that many calories are just too much.
Card is paid off now too - lesson learned - but the food was good!

Now we live in Ireland, probably once a month for both.
When we lived in the UK........well put it this way, the local Indian would give us a Christmas card along with both a bottle of red and white wine......
The pizza place used to know are number and order, so the call would take less the 30s
"Hello Mr Ivan, you want the usual"
" yes please"
"Ok, be with you in 20 minutes"
"Cheers bye"

Don't eat breakfast, lunch out is every day during the week, weekday evenings are normally home cooked meals four nights out of five with one meal out, over a weekend we will probably have a brunch, lunch and evening meal out / takeaway. Sunday lunch is however, almost without fail, a home cooked affair, I have still to find anywhere local that can produce a Sunday roast that can match what we can prepare at home.
