I have a recipe I got from a local in Barbados and it's amazing, I'll see if i can dig it out when I get home tonight
Sounds exactly what I'm looking for, thanks.1 measure of lime juice, freshly squeezed
2 measures of sugar syrup - you can make or buy this. Pretty sure I've seen bottles in the larger Tesco's recently
3 measures of dark rum - Cockspur will do for a punch - tends to be reasonably priced in Sainsbury's
4 measures of water
Dash of Angostura Bitters and freshly grated nutmeg
For the syrup put two measures of sugar in a saucepan with a little water and cook until the sugar has dissolved and add to the juice.
Serve with plenty of ice.
I like a good dollop of Angostura, enough to change the colour a darker shade.
Very strong, very easy to drink.
