Help with costing a baked product

They're probably giving you retail prices because 100 a day is what they consider retail. What size bakeries are you asking, local high street or multiple industrial units?

I use a small local baker and spend £30-50 a week with them to get 10% off retail for pastries etc

This is the first outfit I've approached - an industrial unit-based commercial scale bakers, not an individual high street shop.

They can consider what they like as retail sized orders but as far as I'm concerned, anyone placing an order for 2000 units per month doesn't deserve to be taken for a ride.
