Kenwood KMIX and not GBBO - Pasta instead
Discussion
Very recently I bought the Kenwood KMIX Stand Mixer and after immediate success with the mincer and sausages I now want to develop its use further with pasta.
Can someone tell me to buy the extruder or the roller attachment please?
I prefer wider pasta such as Pappardelle, the wife wants to make ravioli and lasagne would likely be the three types we'd be making.
So this screams just buy the basic roller and cut it myself, as getting lots of different cutters is very expensive for the KMIX.
Or should I buy the extruder attachment and also a hand roller?
I do like the idea of the roller attachment and then these 4 funky rolling pins.
Ravioli we will make by hand, if we want fancy edges then I can get a cutter locally.
The pappardelle thing came after a recent trip to Como where I had the most amazing pasta dish I've ever had in Bellagio.
I need to make that again.
