Hello,

I was in Manchester Airport T1 on Friday AM. 4 Hours to waste so wandered around the shops and ended up in a whiskey shop.
Long story short, I ended up trying an Auchentoshan Solera. Which I really enjoyed.
I asked how much and was told 150:00 pounds a bottle.
On my way to Iraq so I didn’t bother.
( In Iraq now, hence no pound sign on my keyboard )

I did a search and found I can buy said same whisky at 118.00 pounds from Master of the Malt and the same through Amazon.

My question is: Are the two items the same or would the MAN Airport have been a limited edition or something ??

Not sure why people still assume duty free must be cheaper than everywhere else.

That's what I mean 70cl for 120 and 1l for 150 would be about the right price differential
