Italian food recommendations in Italy.

We're currently on a two week holiday in Favignana which is a small island off the south west coast of Sicily. Been here for a week already. A little reserve prior to leaving and a decent Italian app on my phone has helped us out greatly.
Breakfast wise, we've had Sicilian canoli, granita, iced coffee, cappuccinos, little Italian pastries, donuts and croissants filled with ricotta.
The island is known for it's tuna fishing and we've had tuna steak for dinner along with bosiante pasta which is a regional speciality and is like short legs of twisted telephone cable. It's lovely because the sauce sticks to the pasta really well. We've had this in a pomodoro sauce with tuna and aubergine and a pesto and cream sauce too.
We've also had fritto misto which was really tasty, lightly fried seafood. Another local dish is caponata which is slow cooked tomatoes, pine nuts, cubed veg and aubergine which is lovely with crusty bread.
Casual dining and lunch has seen us have pizzas and panini. Dessert wise we've been gorgin on gelato and cannoli.
Does anyone have any tips as to what other dishes we should try for the second half of the holiday? I'm planning on having a blowout meal with grilled lobster and pasta and maybe a full grilled fish. Other than that, I'm all out of ideas.
