Restaurant near park lane

Hi chaps, looking for a recommendation for a nice restaurant near Park Lane in London. Somewhere you need to wear a suit and up to £150 per couple.

Any particular style of food? Loads of great restaurants around there.
La Gavroche requires gents to wear suit jackets, not sure of anywhere else with your dress code.
Grill at the Dorchester is good. Like I say loads of choice, help us out by narrowing down the type of food and date

Try Cut at 45 Park Lane. Fantastic steaks. That aside, you can't go wrong at either Scott's or 34 both just off Park Lane.

We are staying at the Dorchester so would like to go out! I am open to suggestions with regards to cuisine. Modern English, French would be my first choice. With regards to suit as long as it's the type of place that a suit wouldn't look out of place. Don't get out much so would like to dress up.

Galvin at Windows is on the 28th floor of the Hilton, Park Lane. It's only a few doors down from the Dorchester but the cab drivers won't jib at you taking a ride down there. Michelin starred, French haute cuisine or a la carte, and 360 degree views over London. It's all really sparkly.

O/T - Mrs C asked why the people with the big garden didn't have a shed. She was looking at the grounds of Buckingham Palace.

If it's for October have a look on bookatable etc as a lot of places seem to have really good offers on for London restaurant month or whatever they're calling it.

Beginning of November. Good suggestions so far. Is galvin not too expensive? I Had looked at it. I like the steak idea though. . Can't beat a good steak...

Their Menu Prestige is £75 per person plus service charge according to their website. Lunch is less.

Ramsey's not at Claridge's anymore. But Simon Rogan is, and that's a very good thing.

It's Fera at Claridge's now and it's excellent.

Alain Ducasse is in the Dorchester but probably over budget for Dinner and you did want to go out.

£126 each for the Menu Exceptionnel without wine or £200 if you go for the full potatoes.

His budget is £75 each, so he might want to try somewhere else.

34 squeaks in budget, maybe a touch higher if you enjoy a few more drinks than you otherwise might. Highly recommended.

I found Gavroche a bit underwhelming to be honest.
Glad I had the experience but I'm not interested in going back.

And it's out of budget for dinner.

I could go higher for a truly memorable night but have found historically that you don't need to. With regards to La Gavroche I feel it would be a bit too much, but if 34 is recommended then that may be worth a look.

Less formal for sure, but Nobu really is excellent. Probably my favorite restaurant in London.
