A kind neighbor dropped over a large bag (think half a bin bag) of cooking apples today.

What recipe ideas do you have and am I able to freeze them as i'm away for a week on Tuesday and I guess they wont keep, or if they will what's the best way of storing them?

If they are bruised at all then they won't keep whole, freezing is only real option for keeping these.

For non bruised ones, then details here:

You can certainly freeze apples:

We freeze some of ours for apple sauce, crumbles etc, but most get made into Apple Chutney. lick

Thanks for all the replies!

I went for crumble, apple bread and apple cake plus shared a load with the chaps in the office.
