Warburtons do make the best crumpets. Yet to try these giant ones though.

got some last week from Asda. they are okay but prefer a few smaller ones.

I tried to get some yesterday but couldn't find any, and there wasn't a space for them on the shelf. I asked a member of staff that was stocking the bread shelves and she said that Tesco's aren't going to be stocking them and I should try Asda, Morrissons or Sainsburys.

Warburtons and Tescos fell out a while ago. Think Tescos wanted lower prices than warburtons were prepared to accept and basically told them to f-off.

Bought some at the weekend, and made crumpet pizza lastnight. They're fine, crumpets, but bigger (about 5" if you're wondering).

They need to start selling them in packs of 6 now, it's fine getting 3 packs but I can't use my "best to eat them fresh" excuse then.

On a related note has anyone here successfully made their own crumpets and had them taste better than Warburtons or the excellent M&S Ultimate Crumpets?
