Christmas Dinner in New York

Jetting off to New York for Christmas this year and due to my terrible planning have still not sorted out a reservation for food on Christmas day!

Does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants in New York?

What sort of thing are you looking for? I personally love a "family atmosphere" at that time of the year and live big portions. I would book carmines - carminesnyc.com I think. Portions are huge and food has always been very good in my experience. Only been to the ones on upper side and times sq.
