Fancied some fish for lunch

(Apologies for st photos natch)

I find it hard to get a good fish lunch on a Sunday. Everyone is eating dried out carvery roasts. My friend agreed, so we went looking for something splendid. We found it.

Restaurant Perard, Le Touquet

Superb scallops, simply cooked in butter. Perfect.


Amazing Monkfish, with Morels and some odd radishy stuff


Half bottle of excellent Sancerre, not pictured.

15:45 - quick visit to Lord March


16:15 - Gloucester


16:30 - back in the hangar


As Ferris Beuller once said, if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

In terms of 'popping to the chippy' that is definitely up there.

That's one thing I've noticed about the south coast of England - you simply cannot get phenomenally good seafood anywhere. Apart from the phenomenally good seafood restaurants, that is.

What the OP hasn't mentioned is his anguish @ 16:15, approaching landing with a kilo of heroin up his jacksie. Nice lunch eh!

It's a pity that I am terrified of heights.

Wow, if you can get a quality in-flight meal in a tiny plane like that, why can't Ryanair manage it in a fking 737?

Fantasic. I love Le Touquet.

A client of mine has a Lear and regularly takes his family to Paris for Sunday lunch.
