Aunt Bessie yorkshire puddings
Discussion
She's getting on a bit now but over the first Formula 1 GP of the weekend she kept me satisfied from dusk till dawn.
Midnight snack

Breakfast

It's like a plate you can eat. Twice.
Would it be bad to confess I'd like to pile one of these aunt bessies yorkshire pudding up with about 5 inches of donner kebab meat?
or a curry. Or either, topped with melted cheese.
Matron.
How far have you taken one of these bad boys?

There's another thread on here about breastfeeding in public ( http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... ) , that photo would sure enliven it , there's eating and drinking in them !
I find it's just so hard to mix 2 eggs, 65g of plain flour and about a cup of milk together, turn the oven onto a high heat and let the batter rest (preferably an hour, but hey ho), stick some oil in a round oven dish, stick it in the oven for a few minutes and then pour the batter into the hot fat. 20 ish mins later you have a perfect yorkshire pud, moist where it needs to be, crunchy at the rest.
Simplest of simple recipes and I rate aunt bessies shortcuts along with pre cut veg.

And you would be completely wrong. You've just listed a lot of work and effort compared to:Simplest of simple recipes and I rate aunt bessies shortcuts along with pre cut veg.
Remove from packet.
Put in oven.
You're the kind of person who advertises a car on Ebay as being 'perfect with no issues' and then goes onto make a list below of 20 things which are wrong with it which are 'A cheap simple fix', but 'I have no time as I need a quick sale'.
The car is then still on Ebay 6 months later for some reason.
Anyhow, back on topic; i'm using Tescos own at the moment and for what they cost are very good, anyone tried the ones which have a frozen mix in the bottom of a foil thing? Didn't reckon much to them....
