Liquid Smoke now on sale in M&S

Bought some of this today. First time I've seen in for sale in a mainstream supermarket. It smells fantastic. I'm seriously considering pulled pork this weekend so I can try it in a BBQ sauce.

How is it better than smoked paprika?

Because it's not just any liquid smoke, it's M&S Liquid Smoke.

Because it's just smoke flavour, that's all. If you want more smoke flavour, you add more of it and you don't upset the balance of other flavours.

Used to have some of this years ago which I bought on-line, cost quite a bit as it came from America and the P&P was quite hefty.

Will pick up some more now its easily available, adds an extra layer of flavour to a chilli amongst many other things.

Popped in on the off-chance at lunchtime and they had some in stock.

£4/bottle but it does last for ages - you only need a few drops at a time.

Last lot I got was from amazon, useful along side smoke paprika when doing indoor pulled pork etc.
