Osteria Francescana - Anyone Been?

I've still yet to dine at a Michelin starred restaurant (I'm more of a DTP thread kind of bloke) but I've been looking at ticking the box and after watching a documentary on Massimo Bottura I really want to try his place. I turn 30 next year too so it seems like an ideal excuse to combine a roadtrip to Modena with it.
Has anyone been? If so, was it difficult to get a booking and did the food live up to the hype?
