I have a couple of bottles that I'm never going to drink (as I don't like!) but would like to get rid of.

Seems a shame to bin them as I'm sure they're not cheap (the 2 cognacs at least).

What's the best route to getting rid? Can they be sold anywhere or not practically?

Moose, could a local scout group/church/doctors' surgery/charitable group use them as raffle prizes?

Christmas is coming soon so a lot of organisations have Christmas raffles.

Need to get rid in the next week to 10 days.

Are any of them worth anything?!

Hennessy looks like this one: http://www.drinksupermarket.com/hennessy-xo?gclid=...

The other cognac is $150 to $200 dollars according to Google.

Or the Johnnytheboy benevolent fund.

Start a thread in the regional PH bit relevant to you, someone will have them!

It should be a capital offence to even consider binning a Remy XO. It's hardly rare, but it's worth £100 all day long.

As above, at the very least, donate or give them to somebody who will appreciate them. Far too good to just chuck them away.

They're all full and unopened. Just not my tipple.

As said above, it seems a shame to chuck it.

Didn't think you could eBay alcohol?

Were they duty free goods? or has UK tax and duty been paid on them?
If the latter, and you have an independent upmarket off licence near you, you could ask if they'd be interested in buying them off you.
Whereabouts are you in the UK?

Usually the bar code will start with a 5 if it's UK tax paid and there should be a pink stamp on the bottle label.

Knock on the door of the nearest house to you and ask them if they want 250 quids worth of decent cognac.

Give them to a worthy cause, some close friends of mine run this charity http://www.actsma.co.uk and are always looking for donations, their annual ball is in few weeks and they'd gladly auction them on the evening.
