Breweries also brew beer.

a brew can refer to the hot tea like state beer is in before it cools and the yeast gets added.

The English language being what it is, some words have multiple meanings.

For example, on the website: dictionary.cambridge.org, brew as a noun has a meaning of " a type of beer, especially one made in a particular place or particular time" also "a drink of tea or a drink of beer"

I know quite a few people who say "fancy a brew" when going out for a pint.

It's ok, but nothing special. I wouldn't go out of my way to pick some up.

Have to agree, it's alright. If you're in Sainsbury's you should be able to get a few bottles of Warsteiner or Sam Adams, both of which I prefer. In saying that there is a Golden Amber version of Pistonhead which I've not yet tried.

Well it took long enough to get the "what car" threads their own section of the forum, but what about these "Pistonheads Beer" threads? Every few days now, with someone all excited and dying to inform us.
