Any Decent Independent eateries in the Blackfriars Region?

Hello, I have zero knowledge of London so would like some suggestion for evening dining in the Blackfriars area. I have only ever been to London for no more than 24hrs in my 37 years, so I a few suggestions will keep me well fed for a couple of weeks hopefully.

Looking for any independents bistro type places, not anything formal just quality food.

Mari Terra Tapas bar is nice, RSJ was good, and just up at Farringdon bleeding heart bistro is good

Just got back from a great meal at Bleeding Heart, thanks for the recomendation. We will be going back over the next couple of weeks.
