I do enjoy a whiskey but if I am honest I have never really spent big myself. I enjoyed a glass of Hakushu over the weekend so I am looking to get myself a bottle. I don't want to spend more than £50 so what do people recommend?

Thanks
N

Scapa Skiren is a nice light one, if that's to your taste:

ETA - Sainsburys have it at £40

This time of year is the best for buying malts ( Fathers day being the other time) as there's usually a lot on offer in the supermarkets.
Tesco has some very good offers - I'm tempted by a £17 reduction on Cardhu ( down to £25) and a special batch Laphroaig also down to £25.
