London Eateries - Child Friendly

Booked train tickets to take my daughter to London for the day for her 7th Birthday.
Planning on doing the usual tourist stuff, the palace, London eye, Hamleys etc.
Looking for somewhere for a quick lunch which will impress her, I was looking at rain forest cafe, but I've heard its over priced and a bit crap nowadays.
Any ideas?

Flat Iron for excellent steak - £10 per head and just around the corner from Hamley's
Honest Burger is, IMO, the best burger in London. Meard St in Soho should be ideally located for your trip.
You can't book at either and they're both small venues, but the food is great and my kids love both of them.
Places like Byron and Ed's Diner are, ostensibly, more child friendly, but she'll feel grown up and well fed without being patronised in the two above.

At 7 they will pobably enjoy a good icecream/Desert place more I would imagine. So how about get a sandwich for lunch, and take her somewhere fun instead?

Franco Manca is cheap and great. They don't take bookings though, so there could be a wait for a table.
