Beers, standard or craft, what are your favourites?
Discussion
We have the Cigar Thread, Friday night drinking and listening thread and we have thousands of "What Weedkiller" threads now it's time to get serious about beers.... More examples could have been given but hey.
The gems you like to enjoy on an evening through to the all day "sesh" favourites, what are peoples preferences?
Hopefully enough beer drinkers willing to share some hidden gems to allow us all to enjoy more beer than a Tennents or Carling in the local.

Is this proper brown beer or that fizzy yellow lady beer?
Any beers, fk it even lagers !!My own would be Stella or Bud in the fridge and the stuff from Cromarty Brewing Co for a change, passing them tomorrow so hoping to catch them open to pick up a few for the weekend. thier AKA IPA and Happy Chappy are nice and not as flowery as some other IPA's.
Thinking about them started this thread.

Happy Chappy is lovely, nice and light with good flavour, had it quite a bit recently, thankfully I am only a few miles from Cromarty! Lager wise I like crisp light premium stuff like Peroni or Menabrea and will usually stick to these on a night out as I don't seem to get too bad a hangover, however my guts don't seem to approve as much as my head and the pan can take a bit of a beating in the morning, window open all day!

Where abouts are you? My OH's gran stays about 7 miles down the road at Ardivalle (sp?) she's about half mile from the brewery as the crow flys across some fields.
