Discontinued Wine

Hi All,

Waitrose used to stock a Californian Cabernet Sauvignon, it was called Golden State and was branded as one of their own wines.
Last year they stopped stocking it and not being a wine aficionado i'm unsure how to find one similar. I've tried buying wine made in the same valley (lodi) and tried other Californian cab sav's but nothing is quite right.
Any other ideas, would a different type of red wine made in the same valley work better?

Move on, when they're gone they're gone as Lidl say. Keep trying others, and who knows what you might find. If you're desperate you could google the label and stalk the manufacturer.
