Can’t search at mo so sorry if this is a repeat.. got house guests next week and I love meat and fruit dishes. Anyone done bobotie before? Gonna have a go so any experience welcome smile

Yes I have once, took a lot of time to prepare, wasn't that good and haven't bothered to make it again. From memory I think it was too dry ( needed a gravy).

Slow cooked apricot and lamb tagine (with rose harissa). Served with jewelled couscous.

Easier and nicer IMO.

One of my ‘signature’ dishes.. I use ras el hanout... never done the bobotie though..... never know till you’ve tried....
