Which is posh for Goulash Soup innit
Had one in a local Pub/restaurant made by a German chef who was adamant his was the "real deal" ............ well I thought it was rather mediocre with no punch and far too thick. Nothing like what I remember having been on numerous ski holidays!
Waiting for Amazon to deliver my Hungarian Paprika in about an hour first though................

You can't put something like this up and not tell us the recipe
Also would it be good in a slow cooker?
Ok just got back from pub and done phase two....
Also would it be good in a slow cooker?Off for a kip whilst it’s in the oven - sun dried tomoto bread done earlier and just found out that Wifey has already nicked the crust

Recipe was loosely based on this (bloody good write up on its history too) https://www.daringgourmet.com/traditional-hungaria...
Also would it be good in a slow cooker?I like hot stuff but when I tasted it after yesterdays first cook was a bit dubious about 4-5 tablespoons of Paprika
but trust me once it has fully cooked out it's deliciously flavorsome .............Wifey insisted on rice with a dollop of Mayo but I was happy enough with just the homemade sun dried tomatoe bread and butter.
