I dusted off my Weber Genesis for our first BBQ of the season today - I wipe it with a J cloth a few times a year, then clean the grill plates with a wire brush after each use. It is now 10 years old and the only part I have replaced has been the cover, which I changed in year 9. I generally use it 2x per week, between April and October. I admit am pretty tight, but don’t mind paying for quality, if it is good value. Would recommend!!

I've had mine for 13 years now.... Not the posh one with cabinets, but an open bay under the grill.

Ideally it needs new metal stuff inside, but they're pretty expensive for what they are, IMHO.
The "warmer" grill that swings under the lid was binned a couple of years ago.

Whilst it's covered, the grill stays outside all year, and can often be found with a couple of feet of snow on it, so it stands the weather pretty well. Could do with a new Weber cover... Maybe this year. wink
