Ice pops have become rubbish! Give me artificial flavouring!

I bought a pack of Mr Freeze ice pops during the hot weather, ostensibly for the daughter, but much like Smarties it turns out that they're now dull in both colour and in flavour.
Whatever happened to good old fashioned lurid blue raspberry and acid-green tropical flavours, like we had in the 90s? They were awesome!
Do the old fashioned brightly coloured sugary ones full of delicious artificial flavouring still exist? Or have they been legislated out of existence by the health Gestapo?
