Any recommendations for a place to gab a bite in or around Waterloo? Probably will be late, circa 3pm. I would say medium cost (£100 tops), taking a client out but he's northern (so anywhere that does chips and gravybiggrin)

Any cuisine, just need to spend a couple of hours have to a chat.

There's Culture Grub, a decent Chinese place in The Cut, just a few yards up from The Old Vic.

That's pretty decent and should have cleared out a bit by 3.00pm. smile

Tas, Turkish Restaurant, 33 The Cut, London SE1 020 7298 2111 6-7 minutes from station
Brasserie Blanc, 9 Belvedere Road, SE1, 020 7202 8470 5-6 minutes from station.
Both excellent, good food and good service.

Hixter is good, and only a short walk.

Good call, never been in there, but heard good things about it.
Great Guildford Street is more than a short walk from Waterloo though, IMO,
it’s off Southwark Street, closer to London Bridge Station.

Hixster isn't worth the walk.
