This! An institution and great value. Worth booking as it's tiny and very popular.

never been to bells diner, but heard lots of good things about it.

Also worth considering- The Cambridge bar (young street, behind george street, so closer to city centre than stock bridge) went recently and it was awesome.

Didn't know if the Cambridge Bar was still there, been a long time since I was there as well. Worth walking down the street to the Oxford Bar if you're a fan of good traditional pubs.

Bread Meats Bread will do takeout.

If you want some where that's the more traditional fast food style but nicer there's Burger on Fountainbridge as well.

bells diner do takeaway, but you have to pick it up. Dunno where you are staying, but stockbridge is a 15/20min walk to princes street?

Cambridge bar, is a nice little quiet pub. I'd happily go in there, have a pint, eat a burger and then wander off to my hotel.

Also have a look at deliveroo, they will do deliveries from all the chain places in town- 5 guys, GBK etc.... plus some other non chain places, and can have it dropped off at the hotel if you dont wanna have to go out.

If it were me, I'd happily go out a walk, go get some dinner on my own, then take a wander through the xmas markets and stuff to kill sometime, instead of sitting in my room all night.

Bread Meats Bread is right next to there.

You’re right in the middle of town so plenty to do as well.
