Hi All

Heading to NYC soon for the wife's 40th.

Not looking for Michelin * star rated as we can't be arsed with that...but if you could recommend any hidden gems in the Tribeca area I'd appreciate it. So much choice and they all seem so good...

Cheers

I ate at the Tribeca Grill a few years back, the De Niro place. I had the NY strip and chips - perfectly pleasant. It was a work meal so I wasn't paying so I can't comment on value etc.

Looked at the menu and looks decent enough - thanks for the post.

I would really recommend going to City Vineyards for a glass (or bottle) of wine before dinner. The wine is local and really good value for money. I haven't eaten there, but heard the food is good too.

It's right on the Hudson with great views of NJ!

Went about three years ago with family. Food was good and service excellent.
It was quite loud but we were eating early and I think there was some office after work party.

American Cut is good, big steaks served on platter. I've been to Wolfgangs too, but several years ago.

Strip House is also downtown, very good - bit more refined.

Harry's near Wall Street is a bit of an institution; Kobe burger there is awesome and only 25 bucks.

All walkable from Tribeca.
