Beer fridge/cooler
Discussion
Anyone know of any places doing decent deals on a beer fridge/cooler?
Moved house and fancy a beer fridge to stick in the utility room to save space in the normal fridge.
The husky glass door style seem ideal in terms of size but didn't think they would be circa £150!!
Typical they used to do them as part of a deal when buying a load of beers but that was when I didn't have the space to have one!
Sods law!
Any ideas or recommendations?

We bought a wine fridge, that sits in the kitchen of which half is taken up with 660ml bottles as well as a husky in the shed.
However I have been looking at one of these https://uk.the-sub.com to stick next to the coffee machine in the kitchen.

I looked at those and they seem great, but the cost of the beer itself to go in it is
The Fagin in me simply won’t allow me to pay significantly more for something I can buy in a supermarket, just because it’s ‘draft’

I've been looking for one since my old one died - it was £150 14 years ago iirc. This one looks pretty good except it's similar to this, which gets poor reviews https://www.amazon.co.uk/Swan-SR12030BN-Fronted-Co...
When buying a small fridge recently, it quickly became apparent that they were all the same except the brand and the price. So these tow will almost certainly be the same.
Before I saw this I bought https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01G3SB55G/ref...
After delivering the wrong item on the wrong day, collecting that but failing to deliver the right one, then finally delivering a broken one, I'm now waiting for a refund.
Will the Husky take 330ml bottles as well as 440ml cans at the same time? Here's a slightly cheaper version, same thing, different name, probably https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cookology-MBC46BK-Bottle-...
Note some wine coolers don't chill so cold as beer fridges.
This might help make the others look cheap

I got a compact sub a couple of months ago, the beer is a little on the pricey side, but it is much better than beer out of a can or bottle. They regularly have offers on the Subs, I think I paid around £50 for my sub. Hold out for the offers! They come up on offer every few months. A bit more expensive, but infinitely cooler (sorry for the bad pun)

One of these is in my dining room now, and it's all your fault!!!! https://www.andertons.co.uk/marshall-beer-fridge-m...

The 3.2, in the link, not the 4.2 in your pic. Looks very good, seems well made, much better than the one I sent back, not sure the light's working, but.

Marshall one is cool, couldn't see different models on the site, or am I being thick?
The Smeg one, wtf? I just don't get how they can be so pricey, it's a fridge FFS. f
king hipsters.
The one in the link is the 3.2, which has no ice box and it very slightly smaller. I went to the Marshall site to compare. The Smeg one, wtf? I just don't get how they can be so pricey, it's a fridge FFS. f
king hipsters. As I said, I had one delivered from Amazon @ £200, 93l. I sent it back as it was damaged, but tbh it wasn't very well made. When I looked at others on Amazon, they looked like the same thing, different names, and with quite a few bad reviews. The Marshall one looks better made, is better finished (shelf edges etc) and came in a protective plastic film. Time will tell.
I nearly just bought a fridge. Found one which looked reasonably OK at JL at a reasonable price, Googled it for best price and found Which saying it was a fire hazard because of the plastics and 'don't buy it' in big letters. Most cheaper fridges were not enough shelf height slots, and the door bins were not high enough, so anything tall falls out if you're not careful.
Yes, the Smeg one, wtf.
