Tried Tassimo, Senseo and Lavazza machines so far, and rejected bean to cup things - so I want a coffee gadget that supplies a hot MUG of coffee in one action - help me out please !

Define hot and MUG

Might be worth looking at the Nespresso Vertuo machine, it has a big range of cup sizes:

Only way to know how hot the coffee which it serves is to try it, you can get a demo at a Nespresso Boutique:

I personally have a couple of the original pod Nespresso machines, and the coffee is quite hot when it's brewed. If I have time though, I do heat the cup with boiling water and run a pod-less brew through the machine to maximise coffee temperature. Once that's done then an espresso (for example) is almost too hot to drink immediately.

According to the "experts", the water used for making coffee should not exceed 96c, so boiling water straight from the kettle is too hot.

Recently purchased a Nespresso Vertuo machine. Very impressed and does deliver a hot cup of coffee even with a dash of cold milk added.

If you don't like bean to cup and you don't like pod grow machines then I think you'll struggle to get a got mug of coffee with one button press.

What's wrong with bean to cup anyway? I love mine. Had it 8+years and still going strong

I've got a Nespresso Vertuo Plus machine. Had it since October and absolutely love it.

Got given their Aeroccino 4 for Christmas and am now a dab hand at making Latte's etc for friends when they come round. It's great.

We have a Dolce Gusto in the office and it makes nice coffee but always at "perfect drinking temperature" IE too cold.

In germany everyone seems to have the Senseo machines. I find they are hotter but maybe they are doing it for health and safety?

I often just microwave it for 20 seconds afterwards.
