Just had to turn it over! Jamie's money saving meals. Within the 1st two minutes he's telling us what to do with our left over salmon, what kind of people have left over salmon that want to make a meal for £1.50? I thought you fed it to the cat. Then have lobster the next day. What a prize prick he is. Rant over. Your comments are welcome.

Salmon is (IME) at the more expensive end of “fish”. I doubt that people who eat salmon are the kind of need to save money.

I can't stand the tw4t either.
No idea of his appeal.
His restaurant in Bristol closed late last year and I for one cheered at the news.
Mockney twunt!
Incidentally, we had "Hello Fresh" reps nocking on our door recently and they told me the whole project was endorsed by JO......
Once I heard that revelation I told them to jog on! biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I'll throw my lot in here. Yes he has turned out to be a prize w__ker, but for me he changed the style of cooking in this country away from the boring Delia crap to something a bit more dynamic. Last year I saw that old skeletal BBC relic Mary Berry doing a Chilli Con Carne...carefully measuring every ingredient, no one needs to cook that way anymore. More importantly to me Jamie inspired my son to leave school and get into catering...now he's a head chef at 23.

He's a tt. I know Gordon Ramsay isn't everyone's favourite but at least he's achieved something. More Michelin stars than you can shake a stick at.

What has Jamie Oliver actually achieved? Very little. He was a pot washer at the River Cafe and ran a bankrupt chain of crappy Italian resturants.

I like him. He cooks well. His recipes help me cook well.
He takes positions that put him in the firing line. Fighting the good fight.
Pukka.

I can't understand the ire here personally, there was a bigger thread something to do with him a while back which was 95% the same as above (edit, well one above the post above, as you say that seems to be why people don't like him - pretty pathetic reason to dislike someone this much imho) - nothing about him particularly bothers me getmecoat

He's been actively trying to get the nation to eat more healthily for years - and still obesity grows (see what I did there?)

Other tv shows are available. Internet awash with recipes not involving salmon. Or fat tongued Essex lads.

fk me. According to Google Oliver is one of the richest chefs in the world, way more than potty mouth.

Still a tt.

I’m sure he’ll be losing sleep over comments from internet bad boys who in the grand scheme of things have achieved zero compared to him lol.

I quite enjoy his "café on the pier" thing with his mate Jimmy and a celeb cooking something up.

As above ,don't get the hate ,so he speaks a bit funny ,so what ?

The Michelin stars are worth more than money... JO couldnt achieve a Michelin Star if he tried.
