Hi, i don't have the luxury of a pizza oven and only have a standard electric oven. I was having a look at these pizza stones to have pizza with crispy bottom. I guess the stone needs to be in oven for a quite some time so it can get really hot.
Any experience or recommendations?

We use a Benehacks pizza stone (Amazon) on a gas bbq for cooking pizza.
Always a brilliant results and wouldn't cook a pizza any other way, also great in the oven as well.( I'd like a Unni but SWMBO has had enough of my outdoor cooking obsession- 2 charcoal grills, a pellet smoker and a chargriller side box smoker).

Son has a pizza business in Cardiff with two fixed sites ( one in Cardiff market - shameless plug!! ), and two vans with food fired ovens in all 4. Neapolitan pizzas.
He has done tv and radio shows ( tv road trip last year to world championships in Italy) and has cooked pizzas in a frying pan in the studios.Cast iron preferred and allowed to get hot as hell. It is the heat that counts. His ovens run at 400degC plus and cook a pizza in no time.
So if you want a pizza stone get your oven HOT. Avoid chiiled or frozen toppings or prepared pizzas.
Last Christmas he did special Christmas pizzas with.....sprouts. I dare you!

If you google "cast iron baking stone" you will find they are pretty much all the same ranging from £10+
Heat them up on a medium hob, put your dough and toppings on then under a (maximum) preheated grill as close as you can without touching.
2 minutes later proper pizza, or as close as you will get in a domestic oven.

In all the three years I lived in Italy I never saw "proper" pizza being prepared on cast iron and then grilled...Heat them up on a medium hob, put your dough and toppings on then under a (maximum) preheated grill as close as you can without touching.
