Has anyone tried this?

It looks like a nice idea - but the people I've seen queueing up for the Ned seem to be the types of people for whom branded clothing is important.

Just for those have no idea what this is about :

https://www.thened.com/restaurants/neds-feast#

Personally I suspect it wll be a festival of gluttony and not a pleasant meal experience, I may be wrong tho.....

OP you may or may not be aware that this forum has many members who live nowhere near London, so just to reference some la di da lunch in a pretentious eaterie may make people wonder if it's some GoT spoiler.

Cheers for the link, never heard of anything like this. As you say, seems like a one way ticket to gout.

My daughters took me there last Sunday as a birthday treat.
Lots of choice to eat all fairly decent, staff were pleasant and helpful.
Best bit for me was a really good swing band that was playing.
Quite a few swing dancers turned up so it made a very good atmosphere, I took to the floor myself and it was fun.
Very mixed crowd of all ages, some dressed casually others as if they were at a wedding and they all behaved themselves.

That's getting booked for sure, pretentious or not! It's about 200 metres from my office so may have to check out the grille as a pointer to how good the meat is. Thanks OP!
