VIET FOOD in Wardour St is decent enough. Personally I would go after visiting Vietnam not before, let the food surprise you "in country" biggrin

If you are going to Hue, try Madam Thu's, its on the main walking street, the food is amazing! http://madamthu.com/

If you are in Saigon try Bánh Mì 37 Nguyễn Trãi they charcoal grill little pork patties to order then build your Bánh Mì its a little different to the standard roasted meat, and great. Its only open at night, but well worth hunting down, maybe 10 minute walk from the war museum. Oh its about £1.50 for a sandwich that will do for a meal!

http://www.mybanhmivietnam.com/menu is another great place in Saigon for Banh Mi, but a bit more tourist/ new hipster Veitnam. The Wild Greens salad is a thing of wonder!

There are a handful of Vietnamese restaurants in Kingsland Road, Hoxton,
East London, just up from Old Street, which have good reports.
