As per title, I’ve never had a reason to go to Norwich before, does anyone know places to go for eats and drinks ( mainly drinks probably).

Have a crawl down St Benedict's Street... A couple of decent boozers (beer and garden in the Plough are both outstanding) great cocktails (Hawthorn's) and everything in between (the Bicycle Shop's cool - check out the bar in the basement which is often missed when people walk in!)... Lots of eateries there too - and the aforementioned Monk's only 5 minutes away!

I’ve tried the “exclusive to this place” raspberry beer ( god it’s good ) now for a blonde.

This place is worth a trip by itself. The City is very reminiscent of Winchester, but bigger, with more interesting places to eat and drink. There are loads of hills as well, which is a surprise, as I thought Norfolk was as flat as a pancake.

Jolly good.
I’m jealous as well.
Fish and chips afterwards? Try the Grosvenor Fish Shop in Goat Lane. A short walk from Smoke Brewery you won’t be disappointed.
Do check their opening times though.
Enjoy.

I’ll add a place called the ribs of beef. It’s fantastic, with some very nice ‘local’ brews as well. Live music on a Sunday evening can’t be bad either thumbup

From memory I'm pretty sure 'the jubilee' is a good pub. Lots of ales etc. Proper pub. Not in the centre, just a few minutes walk from the railway station.

I now live outside Norwich but have no drinking buddies near me so been a while since I've been there.
