Burger inversion
Discussion
I know it is most likely not a 'powerfully built' method but typically I'll cut a burger in half and eat it in two bits, avoids the burger turning to mush when eaten whole.
Obviously this only works where a knife is available, I don't carry a penknife around to start hacking up my whopper!

When I eat a burger, halfway through I have to turn it upside down else it all falls apart, as if there's not enough bread left underneath to support the infrastructure.
Anyone else? Is it an overbite/underbite, poor technique? Or are burger buns just top-heavy by design?
Its to do with the burger/bread ratio. I find 30/70 acceptable but have been known to risk it at 60/40Anyone else? Is it an overbite/underbite, poor technique? Or are burger buns just top-heavy by design?

I'm going to give that a try next time. I usually end up pinching a little bit of bread with the insides falling out all over my shirt.
If it works then it is worthy of being called s lifehack!
Don't go near the 60/40 though as its the limit for safety and not a novice ratio. If it works then it is worthy of being called s lifehack!

I’m wondering whether it is my technique after all – if my face is vertical but I hold the burger at 45 degrees to the table then obviously more of the underneath is going to be eaten first. But surely I can’t take a protractor to a burger restaurant?
You’ll need the inclination.Obviously.
It’s all to do with the perfect burger. According to my notes it’s 70/30 ratio for both the burger and the angle - on the basis of a lean burger.
A fatty burger should always increase the ratio and decrease the angle due to bun soaking. Relishes however are the stuff of nightmares as they throw out all established calculations and increase the risk of a facial.

Pervert. Anyone else? Is it an overbite/underbite, poor technique? Or are burger buns just top-heavy by design?
There is a proper way of eating a burger which limits fallout and mess.

I invert from the start. No plantstuff keeps it streamlined.
Also a slice of tomato with mayo or burger sauce on it is one of the top 5 lubricants known to man.
Maglev trains don’t actually levitate, they place slices of tomato along the track, cover in a thin layer of mayo and then give the train a gentle push.
