replacement coffee machine advice
Discussion
My Jura bean to cup has failed (Impressa S70) and it looks like it will cost me a minimum of £200 to get it sorted. Ive had it for the best part of 12 years, maybe longer. It was no-frils, beans went in espresso came out. It had a steam spout for frothing milk and that was it.
Ive looked at a replacement from Jura and i can get the E8 for just under £700.
However, i have been looking at Nespresso machines but wonder if they are as good as the Jura will be and last as long? They will certainly be cheaper to buy, though im not sure how the pod costs stack up against beans.
What is the go-to Nespresso machine that will allow me to make a variety of drinks - espresso, cappuccino and latte?

Having recently moved to a Jura bean to cup after many years of Nespresso, I'd stay with bean to cup.
The new ENA 8 machine from Jura is nice and compact and works really well.
In terms of running costs, I'd say that Nespresso is similar to a Jura machine if you factor in the water filters and the cleaning tablets. The coffee however, is much nicer with the Jura.
