We usually keep a couple of curry kits in the kitchen cupboard for when we don't have time to cook or have run out of ingredients. On Monday it was the turn of Patak's Goan Meal kit and it was really tasty with a good amount of sauce and not too fiery for my O/H who is very much a 'Korma person'.

Has anyone else discovered some surprisingly good meal kits?

Spice tailor are pretty good.

But we like the red dragon 3 pouch penang kit. We make with Salmon and prawn with a bunch of roughly chopped mange tout towards the end. It's a fine dinner and takes about the same time as 10 min rice. .

We subscribe to simply cook, and enjoy their meals. It ensures we try something different each week rather than the same monotonous rotation week in week out.

Blue Dragon Thai green is pretty good.

I eat a lot of these as I work with the company that makes them. They have a staff shop...
