What time do I need to get out of bed to guarantee being able to buy a pack of pasta?

Does it actually exist?

Make your own. Although flour is hard to get too, and eggs, bizzarely.

Just wondering if it actually exists seeing as most of it comes from Italy.

Only way to find out is to get to the supermarket for 6am tomorrow

Why pasta? Try something you can see is available instead.

Exactly, and have been doing for a couple of weeks. It just seems odd that there is never any pasta.

Got spaghetti (that's all they had) from Costco and tagliatelle from M&S on Thursday.

It's a staple and more so it has a long shelf life.

The tagliatelle Mrs S got from M&S is fresh.

I'm not sure about these things, but I guess that means you have to look in the fridges for it.

Just go without - my tuna pasta bake made without pasta tasted much better and I saved lots of calories.

In reality, we are the same, which is just as well because there seems to be no problem getting rice. But when you expect to see something on the shelves and its not there any more, it becomes a mission

My work mate mentioned he couldn't get enough rice. I expressed my surprise as a bag lasts me ages.

Turns out he only buys the microwave stuff as he can't cook rice. He's also be going to the local supermarket first thing every morning and buying more st. FFS!!
