fast food bags. What an excellent idea! You go through the drive thru, and everything you purchase has your reg number printed on it, for when those inbreds throw their ste out the window. Bring it on. Please!

Great idea in theory but let's face it. The anti social a holes that do it won't give a flying fish about it. Probably not even their car and what happens when you find a bit of rubbish with a reg number on ??

Amputation? No, I realise there will be the hardcore scrote that gives nay monkeys, but for a sizeable chunk of savages the threat of fines or points will persuade them to maybe adhere to the rules. If even 1 behaved, it's worth trying, no?

Treat it the same as fly tipping , we could tell as soon as the local mcdonalds reopened and we live a mile away in the country , reg numbers on packaging is an excellent idea , the county councillor for beds was on the radio a while back asking for dashcam footage of people binning their crap out of car windows promising to prosecute , not sure if anythin* came of it .

We had a dumping problem here. The Sheriff caught someone in the act, and gave him a citation. He admitted it in court thinking he would only get a small fine, which he did. But the judge wiped the smile off his face when he ordered the miscreant to hire a company to clean up the rubbish. Said miscreant asked why he would need a company when he only dumped 2 bags of garbage. The judge's reply was "As we don't know how much of the garbage was yours you get to clean all of it up"
Cost him several thousand dollars biggrin

Lets be honest, they'll only end up prosecuting a very small percentage (if any) and if the rubbish is in the street outside your own house I think they'll give you the benefit of the doubt

Personally think it's a great idea, anything that helps stop the litter has to be a good thing

Unless they print it all over every piece of packaging, it'll achieve nothing.

The scrotes will merely tear off the portion of the bag bearing their reg number, pop that into the overflowing ashtray of their car, and lob the rest out of the window as usual.

best you would get is rego on the receipt , madness to think they could print bags , burger boxes and wrappers , drinking cups while someone waits at the window

could it not be guesstimated how much litter a fast food seller would create then tack that onto the taxes to cover clearing it up?
