Aldi sweets Explosive Tendencies
Discussion
Had a very similar experience with their sugar free liquorice gums.
Bought a packet at lunch time and consumed most of them in short order as a mid afternoon snack.
A short while later the rumbling started and I spent most of the rest of the afternoon in trap 2 at work.
Things calmed down so I decided to brave the journey home. I had to stop at just about every petrol station and mcdonalds on the way home. The commute is usually about an hour and 15. This one was over 2 hours. It was possibly one of the most stressful journeys I have every been on.
I was very windy for a couple of days after too.

It’s not just Aldi stuff - seems like sugar-free Gummy Bears have a similar effect.
