MrsSE and I are travelling from Teesside to Hampshire tomorrow. Very flexible, we don't have a particular route in mind.

We would like to stop somewhere in the middle of the country for a coffee and light brunch. Or an American diner... Any good ideas?

There's a few OK Diners on the A1 which would fit the American Diner option. No idea if they are open / what their Covid-19 situation is.
