Winter bbq's.... who's doing it?
Discussion
So, I had a crap summer from a bbq perspective.... C19 back in April, managed to get the bbq on the go in June (I think it was June), attended by members of our bubble (6 back then - all socially distanced in the garden).... Even printed out a fancy restaurant stylee menu... but looking back, that was pretty much it... went camping in July, first time since I was a boy scout (yes it was after the war)... had to buy everything from scratch... good old Amazon... this included a little gaz stove, bloody brilliant little thing... get a few sausages and some bacon on it....OMG the smell of bacon on a camp site at crack of sparrows....
Anyhoo, I love cooking outdoors, and I know there's a big following for al fresco here in our hallowed halls of motoring excesses.. So, It's my intention to (attempt) to bbq at least once a week during the winter... I firmly believe its both good for the stomach and mental well being
Even if I only manage a couple of times a month it'll be a big improvement over the year past.... I don't lock up my cars for winter, they get all year round use... and I'm of the opinion now that the same should apply to the bbq
So, who's up for winter bbq'ing, and how well set up are you for it...
Here's to outside grub

Year round BBQer here. Rain, hail or shine.
I've got a Weber gas BBQ and Weber Charcoal Kettle next to each other along with 2x13kg gas bottles and 2 large bags of charcoal next to the house. A decent outside is really helpful to keep an eye on things in during the dark evenings.
Marinated lamb on the Kettle last night, a whole chicken on the gas one last Sunday and will be doing steak and sausage tomorrow evening on the Kettle again.
Sausages on a Saturday morning for a sandwich and not forgetting the turkey on the gas BBQ on Christmas day.
Our butcher thinks I'm nuts!
