James May cookery show
Discussion
I did search but could find no other thread and I pondered over here or TV.
Anyway, is anybody else watching his series on Amazon Prime? Simple format and he cooks stuff. We are really enjoying it and learning stuff. In fact we are taking inspiration for this weekends menu.
If youdont like James May, you'll hate it so don't bother watching or trouble to let us know that.
Tomorrow I make my first pie!

Mrs. DG is a big fan of James, so it went down well in our house. His presenting style is informative and easy to watch, like how he takes the Mick, out of celebrity chef’s style of presenting.
Although I’m a pretty good hand at Indian food, I want to try his Dall recipe as most I’ve seen seem a bit of a faff. Due to where we live, both ingredients and kitchen equipment are limited, so will have a bash at the roast.
Yes it’s worth a watch; I’ve kept both the Indian and roast, for future viewing.

His vids are now being posted on YouTube under the FoodTribe channel.
Saw the one on kitchen gadgets and quite liked the show. I like his style though I've found his YouTube related stuff a bit mixed.
Personally I think a food specific tv show should be here, but then my last thread on Australian Masterchef got moved over to the TV section by hte mods and stagnated.

I've just got to the end and find little to criticise. My daughter and son in law are not watching it so I'm watching again.
Interestingly my daughter, who works in film and TV says that there is always a home economist on set if there is food involved, either drama or food show. You normally don't see them though.
