I found crocodile quite fatty, but that may have been just down to the cut of meat. I haven't had snake yet.

I had croc from one of the local farm shops where they rear their own. Reminded me of swordfish only meatier. I didn't find it fatty or slimy

Recommended as a day out, but not as a fine dining experience.
Kangaroo steak at a spit and sawdust Alice Springs pub, along with a lot of beer, was a much better experience.

You can’t be far from me, I am only 5 miles or so from there. I didn’t get my crocodile from there though, I had mine in China.
