The post Christmas eat-down continues. In the fridge, and needing to be eaten today, I have 2 prawn cocktails and a brioche bread and butter pudding.

The question is, what to cook for main? Tempted by something retro like coq au vin, or maybe a chicken kiev. That said, I'm adequate in the kitchen, so open to suggestions.

Best,

Matt

ETA: dessert

You’re still eating Christmas prawns on the 8th jan? I wouldn’t worry about mains it’s all going to come back to haunt you very quickly after those prawns.

Beef Stroganoff is quite a 70s dish that could work well with the prawn cocktails?

Ah right. The sound of your op you had made them into a prawn cocktail kept it in the fridge and was going to give yourself food poisoning.
