I’m being given a decent kitchen knife for my birthday, I have decided on a Wusthof 20cm chefs knife as it’ll get the most use. Having searched, I like the Classic Ikon with hollow edge but can’t find any for sale!

Does anybody know if they’re discontinued or perhaps new & not available yet? Would prefer the Ikon due to the lack of guard, also think they look a bit nicer.
The other option is to buy an Ikon without the hollow edge but would I miss it?

Don’t currently have any ‘decent’ knives, my ex took them all with her.

One of the best knives I have ever used was a Wusthof classic serrated slicer. They do them in 2 sizes and for me is one of the most used knives in y knife roll.

That’s the normal one, I’d prefer the hollow edge one with the scallops in the side of the blade.

Bought a full classic set in a block before Christmas.

Seems to be issues with deliveries post brexit. I got Amazon delivery from Germany. Try there or also Millys kitchen store.
