Admittedly I've zero experience of using a courier, those I've sold with in the past have free collections from where I live in Speyside.

Which auction house are you planning on using? I ask as some offer free courier collection, The Grand Whisky Auction for example. SWA offer regular collections from Englandshire too.

If it helps :
MacAllan, Whisky Hammer+ Grand Whisky Auction both use DHL
Tamdhu and Glengoyne use DPD

Cool cheers. I think they all do free collections although weirdly they are not insured so I can’t imagine people would really go for that unless they were trying to see cheaper things. I went with whisky auctioneer in the end and sent via DHL. it was like £80 to send due to the value!! Hopefully still well worth it.
